Health Safety and Environmental Manager
We are currently seeking a diligent and experienced Health Safety and Environmental (HSE) Manager to join our clients team in Ann Arbor, MI. The HSE Manager will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of health, safety, and environmental compliance within our organization. This individual will play a key role in ensuring that the client maintains a safe and healthy work environment for all employees.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement health, safety, and environmental policies and procedures in accordance with local, state, and federal regulations.
- Conduct regular inspections and audits to identify potential hazards and ensure compliance with established guidelines.
- Provide guidance and training to employees on HSE best practices and procedures.
- Investigate accidents and near misses, and implement corrective actions to prevent future incidents.
- Collaborate with department managers to develop and implement safety initiatives and programs.
The ideal candidate will have a bachelor's degree in occupational health and safety, environmental science, or a related field, along with at least five years of experience in a similar role. A thorough understanding of OSHA, EPA, and other relevant regulations is required. Strong communication and leadership skills are also essential for success in this role.
Qualifications:
