HR Coordinator

Position Overview

Drive Staffing Solutions is seeking a sales-minded HR Coordinator / On-Site Staffing Coordinator to support one of our manufacturing clients in Charlotte, MI. This role is perfect for someone with a staffing agency background who enjoys owning an account, driving hiring results, and building strong client relationships.

You’ll be employed by Drive Staffing Solutions and embedded on-site, acting as the face of Drive for both the client and our workforce.

In addition to on-site responsibilities, this role will support business development efforts by identifying and pursuing new staffing opportunities in the surrounding market.

What You’ll Do

  • Own hourly recruiting results for temp-to-hire production roles

  • Proactively source, interview, and place manufacturing operators

  • Build strong relationships with plant leadership to understand and anticipate staffing needs

  • Act as the on-site account representative for Drive Staffing

  • Support employee relations, onboarding, and retention efforts

  • Manage and audit timecards and attendance for hourly and salaried employees

  • Track hiring activity, fill rates, and workforce performance

  • Identify opportunities to improve retention, fill speed, and workforce stability

  • Identify and pursue new staffing business opportunities outside of the on-site account

  • Support referral generation, networking, and market development efforts for Drive Staffing Solutions

What We’re Looking For

  • Staffing agency, recruiting, or workforce solutions experience

  • Sales or account management mindset (urgency, follow-up, results-driven)

  • Comfortable being client-facing and influencing hiring decisions

  • Experience recruiting hourly or light industrial talent

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
