Drive is seeking a detail-oriented and strategic Material Planner to join our team in Charlotte, MI. As a Material Planner, you will be responsible for analyzing inventory levels, forecasting demand, and developing procurement strategies to ensure timely delivery of materials for production.

Key responsibilities of the Material Planner include:

• Collaborating with production and supply chain teams to determine material requirements
• Monitoring inventory levels and identifying potential shortages or overages
• Analyzing historical data and market trends to forecast future demand
• Developing and implementing procurement strategies to optimize costs and lead times
• Working with suppliers to negotiate contracts and ensure on-time delivery of materials

The ideal candidate for this role will have a Bachelor's degree in supply chain management or a related field, as well as at least 3 years of experience in material planning or procurement. Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and proficiency in Excel are also required.
